HPI Freight & Logistics Pvt. Ltd. is providing reliable Supply Chain Management (SCM) services. Supply Chain Management is the combination of art and science that goes into improving the way your company finds the raw components needed to make a product or service and deliver it to customers efficiently.
The following are the five basic components of our SCM:
Plan
This is the strategic portion of SCM. A clear strategy is required to manage all the resources involved in meeting customer demand for products or services. A major part of planning is developing a set of metrics to monitor the supply chain, ensuring it is efficient, cost-effective, and capable of delivering high quality and value to customers.
Source
This step involves choosing the suppliers who deliver the goods and services required to create the product. It includes developing pricing, delivery, and payment processes with suppliers, as well as creating metrics to monitor and improve supplier relationships. It also covers inventory management processes such as receiving shipments, verifying goods, transferring them to manufacturing facilities, and authorizing supplier payments.
Make
This is the manufacturing stage. It includes scheduling activities required for production, testing, packaging, and preparation for delivery. As the most metric-intensive part of the supply chain, it focuses on measuring quality levels, production output, and worker productivity.
Deliver
This stage is commonly referred to as logistics. It involves coordinating customer orders, developing a network of warehouses, selecting carriers to transport products, and setting up an invoicing system to receive payments.
Return
This is the most challenging part of the supply chain. It involves creating a network for receiving defective or excess products from customers and supporting customers who face issues with delivered products.
